Studio Budget Planner

← All University Learning Tools
Allocate your own estimates across ten studio categories and compare them with available funds.
Objective: Account for the complete setup, including treatment, storage and contingency.
Preparing the interactive controls. JavaScript is required; related lessons remain available below.
Plan allocations, not product prices
Enter USD estimates you choose. Blank category amounts count as zero. Contingency is included in the allocated total; it is not added a second time. No current prices, credit offers, affiliate links or tax assumptions are inserted.
Enter available funds and your estimated allocations.
How the budget is calculated
Allocated total = sum of all ten categories, using integer cents. Remaining funds = available funds − allocated total. Overage = the positive amount by which allocations exceed available funds. Category share = category amount ÷ allocated total × 100%; zero allocation totals show 0% shares. Display rounding can make percentages differ slightly from 100%.
The example is a set of hypothetical allocations totaling $2,000, not a recommended equipment package or current price list. Confirm actual costs, taxes, delivery and compatibility separately.
Local-only practice: no account, automatic saving, third-party tracking, or input submission is used by these tools. Reloading clears the working state.
